How to prepare for WEI exams?

  • Students are advised to learn tables of numbers till 30 by heart.
  • For 4th standard exam, students should learn all the prime numbers from 1 to 100 as well squares of numbers from 1 to 30. This knowledge is the basic requirement if a student wants to appear for WEI exam of any standard.
  • For 7th standard upwards, students should learn cubes of numbers from 1 to 10 by heart.
  • Wisdom textbooks are published with a view to help students prepare well for the exams.
  • Sets of question papers from previous years and model answer-sets are also available for practicing purposes.
  • Read the chapters from Wisdom textbooks carefully. Give due to attention to the information given under ‘Notes to be remembered’.
  • Then start solving the exercises from Wisdom textbooks. Read each question very carefully. Figure out what needs to be found and then start solving it.
  • Once you solve it, check whether your answer matches with any of the given four answers. If it does not, that means you have not solved the problem correctly. Try solving it again patiently. Never ever make it a habit to ‘guess’ the correct answer from the four given answers.
  • Carefully study all the chapters from Wisdom textbook till December, and then onward, till the final exam, practice solving the question papers from question-papers sets of previous years within 90 minutes.
